What Is Radiesse?

Radiesse is an injectable implant made with calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. It is commonly described as both a dermal filler and a biostimulator because it can provide initial support while encouraging the skin’s own collagen and elastin response over time.
As the carrier gel is gradually absorbed, the CaHA microspheres continue to act as a scaffold for new tissue formation before they are metabolised. The aim is a natural-looking improvement planned around your anatomy rather than a standard amount or fixed injection pattern.

Is Radiesse a filler or a biostimulator?

When Might Radiesse Not Be Recommended?

Safety and Possible Side Effects

Radiesse is a medical injectable treatment, so side effects and complications are possible. Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising are the most common and usually settle as the treated area recovers.
