Getting Ready for Treatment

Please ensure you book your FREE aesthetic skin consultation before your treatment.
A laser skin test is required at least 24 hours prior to your session.
Please inform your practitioner if you have a history of cold sores.You may be required to take medication prior to your treatment to prevent any outbreaks.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
Inform your clinician of any medications or active skin treatments. Please stop using Retinol products 2 to 3 weeks prior to your laser resurfacing treatment.
Hydrate well in the days leading up
Wear comfortable clothing and avoid tight headwear

If the peri-orbital (eye) area is treated, swelling is to be expected. We recommend arranging for someone to drive you home after the procedure.

Post-Treatment Care

Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours unless advised otherwise.
Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first few nights to reduce swelling.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours post-treatment.
Avoid sun exposure for a few weeks following your treatment.Use a high-SPF sunscreen daily to protect your skin.
Use gentle skincare products and avoid active ingredients like retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliants for 5–7 days.
Avoid applying makeup on the area for 24 hours
Do not exfoliate the treated skin for 3–5 days
Keep the area moisturised as directed
Contact the clinic with any unusual redness or sensitivity
