A bit about Nina

Dr. Nina Sheffield has spent more than 20 years building a strong reputation in aesthetic medicine, recognised for her advanced technical skills, clinical knowledge, and experience. Alongside her expertise, she believes that genuine care and a personal approach to every patient are just as important — a philosophy that has helped make her highly trusted by her patients.

After moving to England, Nina had the opportunity to pursue a career in the NHS within ENT. Instead, she chose to dedicate her career to aesthetic medicine and focus on developing a specialised clinic. She is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Responsible Person for the clinic. She did not pursue General Medical Council (GMC) registration, as this would have required several additional years working within the NHS. Building and developing rtwskin became her primary professional focus. The clinic therefore always ensures that a qualified prescriber is available for patients’ initial consultations.

Nina and her husband John have two sons, both qualified medical doctors. Their youngest son, Dr Michael Sheffield, now works at the rtwskin clinic together with his wife, Dr Emel Sheffield. Nina hopes the next generation may continue to be involved in the family practice, while believing that these decisions should always follow their own professional paths.

Outside of the clinic, Nina enjoys spending time with her three fluffy dogs and working in her garden. She also has a passion for flower arranging — a hobby that reflects the same principles she applies in aesthetic medicine. Her work is guided by an artistic eye for symmetry, proportion, and balance, combined with close attention to detail, which she considers essential for achieving natural and refined aesthetic results.
