How It Works
Rosacea laser treatment works by delivering concentrated light to the dilated blood vessels, shrinking them and reducing redness. Topical medications for Rosacea control inflammation, while LED light therapy for Rosacea soothes irritated skin and promotes healing. With a personalised approach, clients experience progressive improvement without downtime.
Long-Lasting and Effective Results
Visible improvements typically appear after 3–4 treatments. Laser treatment of Rosacea strengthens blood vessel walls, reduces redness, and slows disease progression. Maintenance sessions and gentle skincare help sustain long-term results and prevent flare-ups.
Which Areas Can It Treat?

Cheeks:

Your preparation for laser treatment
- Avoid all forms of tanning 2–3 weeks before your procedure including sunbathing, sunbeds, false tans and spray tans. This will improve your results and reduce the risk of possible side effects. To help you achieve this, apply SPF 50 to areas that are exposed to the sun.
- Stop using any skincare products that contain salicylic acid, glycolic acid, alpha hydroxyl acid, retinol or vitamin A, 2 weeks before procedure.
- Do not apply any cosmetic products such as creams, serums or makeup on the day of your procedure as it could affect the penetration of the laser light.
- Plan to have a course of 3 treatments 3–4 weeks apart to achieve optimum results.
- For men: Please arrive with your face closely shaven, as the laser will singe the hairs.
Your aftercare
- Expect the treated area to appear red and swollen. You may apply an ice pack to the treated area which will accelerate your skin’s recovery time.
- Try to only wash with tepid water for the first day after treatment while your skin is in the recovery stage. Be gentle on your skin and avoid the use of strongly scented lotions or soaps, exfoliating creams and aggressive scrubbing to the treated area as this may cause you slight discomfort.
- The redness from the procedure will gradually subside over the next 24–48 hours. In some cases it lasts up to 72 hours. Until the redness has resolved, avoid all of the following:
- The use of AHA (alpha hydroxyl acid) or vitamin A products
- Swimming pools and spas with multiple chemicals/chlorine
- Activities that cause excessive perspiration
- Apply aloe vera gel as often as you like after your procedure. This has a cool, calming agent that is perfect for your skin after a laser procedure.
- Do not apply makeup to the area treated by laser/IPL within 24 hours, unless it is a mineral makeup.
- Always apply a broad spectrum (UVA and UVB) SPF 50 to protect your skin from sun damage. We recommend that you use a medical grade, non-comedogenic (a product that doesn’t block your pores; increase or aggravate acne) sun protection product.
